Not all wedding photos are shot at the actual event. Many couples also wish to have some professional studio shots either of themselves or groups on the day of the wedding or in many cases prior to the wedding. Bridal portraits in the studio yield far better results than on location because of the ability to control the lighting exactly. Some brides, especially if their wedding dress is spectacular, would love to have a studio glamour shot done to create the fashion quality of image usually found in the bridal magazines. Many of the shots you will see in bridal magazines are studio shots and it is almost impossible to reproduce these kinds of images on location. Some couples would also like engagement photos to announce their upcoming wedding or to use on the programs, wine labels, as a feature image at the reception or for other promotional purposes.
